Every year Muslims around the world celebrate a festival which is known as Eid-al-Adha in which they slaughter animals like Camels, cows, and goats. And this is one of the two Eid of the Muslims. And it is celebrated every year from the 9th of Dhul Hijjah to the 12th of Dhul Hijjah of the Islamic dates in the calendar. The date of Eid-al-Adha in 2023 is announced in UAE which is on 28th June Wednesday.

Background Of Eid-al-Adha:

There is a whole story behind this Eid. One night the Prophet Ibrahim saw a dream to sacrifice his son Ismail for showing sacrifice and showing obedience. And his love and belief in Allah is complete. And he discussed it with his son that the almighty God wanted him to be sacrificed. Ismail is also a man of God. And he accepted it and told his father Prophet Ibrahim what the Almighty God ordered him to do.

Prophet Ibrahim took him to the top of Mount Arafat to give the sacrifice of his son. And then at the moment when Prophet Ibrahim AS ran the knife. Then Almighty God sent a lamb in the place of his Son Ismail. And he sacrificed the lamb.

And from then this event is the day of Sacrifice for the Muslims. They do several things on these three day of Eid-al-Adha. Like they slaughter animals and their sacrifice and with that they pray Eid prayers and wear new clothes. And share gifts with their loved ones. 2023 Eid-al-Adha in UAE Date:

Eid-Al-Adha is marked every year in the month of Dhul Hijjah from the 9th to the 12th. And Eid is announced after sighting the moon of Dhul Hijjah. And the date of Eid-al-Adha of 2023 in UAE is on 28th June Wednesday.

Usually, Eid lasts for 3 days all around the world. And the Muslim countries announce holidays for these 3 days.

Because the day of Arafat is coming on Tuesday. And then the three days straight Eid holidays and then the weekends of Saturday and Sunday.

How To Celebrate This Eid?

This Eid is one of the most important events the Muslims the year. And that is why the Muslims prepare themselves for a whole year to celebrate this Eid. Muslims buy animals like Camels, goats, and Cows. And then they feed them till Eid. So, this makes a connection between the animal and the career of the animal. On the first day, the Muslims pray the Eid prayer and then they sacrifice their animal. And the whole process of slaughtering will take place from 3-5 hours. And in between a bit of sweet dishes are exchanged between the neighbors or loved ones. After the slaughtering, it is time to separate the three parts of the meat.

The first part of the meat goes to the neighbor and relatives. And the second is for yourself. And the third is for the needy people. So, this is how the Muslims divide their meat. And by doing this they the Almighty God that they can sacrifice their most loved things on the order of GOD.

Second Day Of Eid:

On the second day of Eid, many people visit their relative’s homes and they both enjoy delicious meals. Or families took rest after spending a very busy day one of the Eid-al-Adha. Some families go out to some kind of picnic park and take their children to enjoy their vacations.

This day usually spends in meets and greets and in eating and serving delicious meals.

Third Day Of Eid:

Muslims also celebrate with proper arrangements and this day is usually reserved for the BAR-B-Q parties in houses. Or at some good picnic point or beach.

Usually these parties will go for the whole month and the whole month of Dhul Hijjah is spent while eating mouthwatering dishes and delicious Bar-B-Ques.

Many parks and beaches organize different kinds of shows and festivals to grab the attention of the audience. This year Yas Marina which is located in Abu Dhabi is hosting a fireworks show on Eid-al-Adha.
